Policies

Booking Policy

At Beauty by Effy, we strive to provide the best service to all our clients. To secure your appointment, we require bookings via email/ phone or Instagram Messenger.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward your final balance.

  • Confirmation: All bookings will be confirmed via email or text message. Please ensure your contact details are up-to-date.

  • Late Arrivals: If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened treatment or the need to reschedule, and you may forfeit your deposit.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

​We understand that things can come up, but we kindly request notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged 50% cancellation fee or the loss of your deposit

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours in advance without penalty. Rescheduling within the 48-hour window may incur a fee or result in the loss of your deposit.

  • No-Show Policy: No-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee and may require prepayment for future bookings.

Payment Policy

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Accepted Methods: Cash, major credit/debit cards.

  • Full Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of your treatment unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

  • Gratuity: Tips are greatly appreciated but not required. They can be given in cash or added to your payment method.

Refund Policy

At Beauty by Effy, your satisfaction is our priority. However, due to the nature of our services, we have the following refund policy:

  • Service Refunds: We do not offer refunds on any services provided. If you are unsatisfied with the service, please inform us before leaving the salon, and we will do our best to address any concerns

Health & Safety Policy

We prioritize the health and safety of our clients and staff. To ensure a safe environment, we have implemented the following protocols:

  • Medical Conditions: Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect your treatment. This helps us tailor your service to ensure your safety and comfort.

  • Sanitation: We adhere to strict hygiene standards and sterilize all equipment after each use. Fresh towels, tools, and linens are provided for every client.

Age Policy

For the safety and comfort of all clients, we have the following age restrictions:

  • Minimum Age: Clients must be at least 18 years old to receive treatments without parental consent. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian must accompany them and sign a waiver.

  • Children in the Salon: For safety reasons, we kindly request that children do not accompany you to your appointment.

Client Behavior Policy

We are committed to providing a relaxing and respectful environment for all our clients and staff.

  • Respect: We expect all clients to treat staff and other customers with respect and courtesy. Abusive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services and refusal of future bookings.

  • Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items. Please keep valuables safe during your visit.

Third-Party Infills Policy

At Beauty by Effy, we do not offer infill services for lash extensions applied by other technicians or salons. This ensures the highest quality and safety standards for all our clients.

If you are wearing lash extensions from another provider, we kindly ask that you book a removal and a full set with us.

Patch Test Policy

At Beauty by Effy, patch tests are required for treatments involving potential allergens, such as tinting or lash extensions. The test must be completed at least 24-48 hours before your appointment to help identify potential allergic reactions.

Please note that while a patch test reduces the risk, an allergic reaction may still occur during or after treatment, even if the patch test results are negative.

Treatments cannot proceed without a completed patch test.
